At DriveAssist Hub (“we”, “our”, “us”), we strive to provide a transparent and fair refund process. This policy explains when and how refunds or cancellations may be requested for our private driving assistance, training, or booking services.
1. Scope & Nature of Services
DriveAssist Hub operates as an independent private platform that provides driving-related support — including booking of private lessons, mock tests, and educational guidance. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by any government authority. Payments made on our website are for our private training, assistance, or information services only.
2. Cancellation — Definition & Rules
Definition — "Processing": Processing begins when an instructor or session has been allocated, training resources prepared, or any third-party service (such as scheduling or venue booking) has been initiated.
- Cancellations are accepted within 24 hours of booking, provided that processing has not begun.
- Once a session or instructor has been scheduled, cancellations may incur administrative fees or partial deductions.
- To request a cancellation, email support@driveassisthub.in with your registered name, email, phone, and Booking ID.
3. Refund Eligibility & Calculation
Refunds are considered based on the booking status and costs incurred up to the point of cancellation.
- Full refund: Granted if cancellation occurs before any processing or instructor allocation begins.
- Partial refund: If a booking has already been confirmed or resources allocated, a partial refund may be processed after deducting administrative or processing costs.
- Payment gateway / bank charges: Transaction fees deducted by payment gateways are typically non-refundable and may be subtracted from the final amount.
- User error: If incorrect or incomplete information causes booking issues or resource loss, refunds may not be applicable.
4. Refund Timeline & Method
- Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days after confirmation. Bank settlement delays may occur depending on your payment provider.
- Refunds are issued to the same payment method used for the transaction whenever possible.
- If you do not receive your refund within the stated period, contact us at support@driveassisthub.in.
5. Non-Refundable Situations
- Change of mind after a booking or session has started.
- Failure to attend a scheduled session or class without prior notice.
- Incorrect or incomplete booking details submitted by the customer.
- Where legal or banking rules restrict reversal of payment gateway charges.
6. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund or cancellation, include the following details in your email:
- Your Booking ID or Order ID
- Full name, registered email, and phone number
- Payment proof or transaction reference
- Reason for cancellation/refund request
Send your email to support@driveassisthub.in. We will acknowledge within 48 business hours and update you on eligibility and status.
7. Support & Dispute Resolution

- Step 2: If unresolved, escalate to our Grievance Officer / DPO at dpo@driveassisthub.in with your Booking ID and supporting details.

- This policy may be updated periodically; please refer to the “Effective Date” above for the current version.
- Refunds relating to tax or GST adjustments follow statutory rules and may vary depending on the refund type.
- This policy does not limit any consumer rights available under Indian law.
